IB Tutoring Hub FZ-LLC ("IB Tutoring Hub," "we," "our," "us") is registered in Al Hamra Industrial Free Zone, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, under RAKEZ Trade Licence No. 52000782. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the IB Tutoring Hub website and tutoring services. By booking a session or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
2. Definitions
Throughout these Terms:
- "IB Tutoring Hub," "we," "our," and "us" refer to IB Tutoring Hub.
- "Client" refers to the parent, guardian, or adult student purchasing tutoring services.
- "Student" refers to the learner receiving tutoring.
- "Tutor" refers to an educator contracted by IB Tutoring Hub.
- "Services" refers to all tutoring, coaching, consultations, workshops, and related educational services offered by IB Tutoring Hub.
3. Our Services
IB Tutoring Hub provides personalised online educational services, including one-to-one tutoring, academic coaching, educational consultations, workshops, and other learning support delivered by experienced IB educators, including IB examiners and workshop leaders. Our services are designed to support students studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP), and related educational support where appropriate. All sessions are delivered through our approved online learning platform.
4. Booking and Payment
- Sessions are billed per hour, at the rate published on our website at the time of booking.
- There is no minimum commitment. Clients may book a single session or ongoing sessions at their discretion.
- Payment is due at the time of booking, via our supported payment methods.
- A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received, unless otherwise agreed in writing by IB Tutoring Hub.
- Prices are subject to change; any change will not affect sessions already booked and paid for.
5. Technology Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have:
- A reliable internet connection
- A suitable device with a camera and microphone
- Access to the agreed online learning platform
- A quiet environment suitable for learning
IB Tutoring Hub is not responsible for interruptions caused by the client's internet connection, equipment, or technical issues beyond our control.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Tutor Availability
While we aim to provide continuity wherever possible, IB Tutoring Hub reserves the right to assign a different tutor when necessary due to illness, availability, scheduling, or other operational reasons. Where possible, clients will be notified in advance.
8. Accuracy of Information
The client agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding the student, including educational needs, contact information, and any health, wellbeing, or learning information that may reasonably affect the student's participation in tutoring.
9. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities
For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must:
- Provide consent for the student's participation
- Ensure the student has a stable internet connection and appropriate device for video sessions
- Ensure the student is in a suitable learning environment free from unnecessary distractions
- Remain reachable during sessions in case of any concern
10. Online Safety and Safeguarding
IB Tutoring Hub is committed to maintaining a safe online learning environment. Tutors and students are expected to behave respectfully and professionally at all times. All tutors are vetted in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, and any safeguarding concerns will be managed in accordance with that policy.
11. Professional Boundaries
Tutors, students, and families are expected to maintain professional boundaries at all times. Communication relating to tutoring should take place through approved IB Tutoring Hub channels unless otherwise authorised. Tutors will not provide private tutoring arrangements outside IB Tutoring Hub to existing clients introduced through the platform without prior written agreement. Clients agree not to engage tutors directly for private tuition outside IB Tutoring Hub while receiving services through the company. This restriction applies during the period in which services are being provided by IB Tutoring Hub and for 12 months following the final tutoring session, unless otherwise agreed in writing by IB Tutoring Hub.
12. Confidentiality
IB Tutoring Hub respects the privacy of all students, families, tutors, and staff. Information shared during tutoring sessions will be treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect the safety or wellbeing of a child or another person, or required for safeguarding purposes in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
13. Recording of Sessions
To support quality assurance, tutor development, safeguarding, and the resolution of any concerns or disputes, tutoring sessions delivered through our online platform may be automatically recorded through our approved online learning platform.
By booking and participating in tutoring sessions with IB Tutoring Hub, clients, parents/guardians, and students acknowledge and consent to these recordings.
Session recordings will be treated as confidential and managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Access will be limited to authorised IB Tutoring Hub personnel where reasonably required for safeguarding, quality assurance, tutor training, or the investigation of complaints or concerns. Session recordings will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for safeguarding, quality assurance, operational, or legal purposes before being securely deleted.
Clients, parents, guardians, and students may not record tutoring sessions independently without the prior knowledge and consent of IB Tutoring Hub and the tutor.
14. No Guarantee of Outcomes
IB Tutoring Hub is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-informed tutoring delivered by experienced IB educators. However, we do not guarantee specific grades, results or academic outcomes, as these depend on factors beyond our control, including the student's own engagement and effort. We are committed to full transparency throughout the tutoring process, including honest progress updates from tutors.
15. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Record, reproduce or distribute session content without consent
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Behave in a manner that is abusive or disrespectful toward tutors or staff
- Impersonate another user
- Share login credentials with another person
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to IB Tutoring Hub systems or user accounts
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the operation or security of our website or online learning platform
16. Intellectual Property
Teaching materials, lesson resources, assessments, presentations, and other educational content remain the intellectual property of IB Tutoring Hub or the tutor unless expressly agreed in writing. All content on this website, including text and branding, is the property of IB Tutoring Hub and may not be reproduced without permission.
17. Privacy
The collection and processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
18. Termination
IB Tutoring Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where:
- these Terms are breached,
- payment obligations are not met,
- behaviour is abusive or inappropriate,
- safeguarding concerns arise.
Clients may discontinue tutoring at any time, subject to the Cancellation Policy. Any outstanding fees remain payable following termination of services.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under UAE law, IB Tutoring Hub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the relevant session(s). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited under applicable law.
20. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ras Al Khaimah.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
