Why IB Tutoring Hub exists

IB Tutoring Hub was created in response to a simple observation: the International Baccalaureate asks a great deal of students, conceptual depth, independent thinking, and consistency across every subject, yet much of the tutoring support available to IB families is not actually built around the IB itself.

We exist to close that gap. Every educator we work with understands the IB from the inside, not as an outside subject specialist adapting to it, but as someone who has taught, examined, or led professional development within the programme itself.

Understanding first. Grades follow.

We believe genuine academic growth comes from understanding, not repetition. Our educators are trained to help students think through a concept until it makes sense, not simply drill past papers until a pattern is memorised. This is slower in the short term and far more durable in the long term.

We also believe every learner deserves expert guidance, not a generic tutoring approach borrowed from another curriculum. Each learning plan is personalised to the individual student: their subject, their programme, their pace, and the specific places where their confidence needs rebuilding.

Inclusion, confidence and lasting understanding

We are committed to matching students with highly qualified IB educators, many of whom serve as examiners and workshop leaders within the IB Educator Network. This is not a marketing claim; it shapes how every session is planned and delivered.

We are also committed to education as something broader than a transaction. Ten percent of our profits are donated to educational initiatives that widen access to quality learning for children in underserved communities, a reflection of our belief that every learner deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of circumstance.
