IB Tutoring Hub FZ-LLC ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, students and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and its Executive Regulations.

Information We Collect
- Parent/guardian details: name, email, phone number, billing address
- Student details: name, age, grade level, IB programme (PYP/MYP/DP/CP), academic subjects
- Payment information: processed via our supported payment providers; we do not store full card details
- Session recordings: where lessons are delivered through our online tutoring platform, session recordings may be created automatically. These recordings are used for safeguarding, quality assurance, tutor development, and resolving concerns or complaints.
- Booking data: booking history and session notes where applicable
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy)
Special Note on Children's Data
Because our services are directed at students who may be under 18, we collect student data only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We limit student data collection to what is necessary to deliver tutoring services and do not use student data for marketing purposes.
How We Use Your Data
- To deliver and manage tutoring sessions
- To process payments
- To communicate booking confirmations, scheduling and support
- To send newsletters or marketing, only with explicit opt-in consent
- To improve our services and website, including through Google Analytics
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of consent, performance of a contract in delivering tutoring services, and legitimate business interests, in each case consistent with PDPL requirements.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:
- Tutors, solely to deliver sessions
- Payment processors, solely to process transactions
- Service providers such as hosting and email platforms, under confidentiality obligations
International Data Transfers
As our tutors and students are located worldwide, personal data may be transferred outside the UAE. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with PDPL cross-border transfer requirements.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your Rights
